The Study Circle of Baroda Branch was formed in the year 1998 with an object of intensified discussion on the recent legal issues and to update members about impact of recent amendments. Looking to the enthusiasm and involvement of members with the passage of time, it has grown manifolds. Currently at study circle, apart from conventional topics like Income Tax, Service Tax and Company law discussion is also held on off bit topics like new trends in Finance, Civil Laws, Spirituality in profession for the benefit of members. Further at Study Circle we provide platform to the newly passed chartered accountants which definitely help them to establish confidence and improve public speaking skill. To make each session interesting, we circulate issues in advance to the members for their active participation.

 

The Study Circle team consists of one Convener, who should be compulsorily the member of managing committee of Baroda Branch of WIRC of ICAI and to support his vision with respect to the programme structure for the year, there are two co-conveners to assist him through out the year. The interesting facts about this structure is that the Study Circle convener is getting visionary exposures to organize large scale programmes during his tenure as chairman and the co-convener get inside about the branch activities and therefore get the chance to be a part of managing committee team of Baroda Branch of WIRC of ICAI.
