Baroda Branch of WICASA

The Baroda Branch of WICASA was founded in the year 1968 with the active support of Baroda Branch of WIRC of ICAI. The credit goes to the visionary people at that time in our profession. The present student's strength is almost 5000. Students are the backbone of any educational institution and therefore, how ICAI can remain aloof of the fact. All the Past Chairmen of WICASA have understood this fact very well and they have never looked back in helping the students. Looking to the needs of time, Baroda Branch of WICASA is organizing various lectures, revisionary classes, seminars, conferences, quiz and elocution competitions, etc. to develop the future members of the esteemed profession. Also to get the pulse of the commercial establishments, industrial visits are made an integral part of the activities. Apart from professional avenues, cultural activities are also given top priority to develop the caring human beings.

Branch has organized eleven successful batches of "General Management and Communication Skills" course for students which are considered to be one of the best in the country. Brach has also organized two successful batches of CPT and has also started Information Technology Training Classes.

All above efforts have put the WICASA Baroda at the National Level by constantly winning the awards of Best Branch in Western India in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006. This is not possible without the never say die approach by all the concerned with the profession.
